Business in Islam

$9.99

There is little doubt that, at the present time, much mistrust exists toward Muslims, largely as a result of targeted attacks against non-Muslims by Islamic jihadists. Although jihadist attacks in the West have received global media coverage, such attacks are occurring with even greater regularity against non-Muslims living in many other parts of the world. With each attack, it is understandable that suspicion and fear of Muslims grows. Yet as Christians, we cannot let our emotions overshadow the Great Commission of our Lord to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19, ESV). Business has historically crossed many national and ethnic boundaries. As services are provided, and goods and money are exchanged, trust grows. Eventually, those who do business together form relationships. It is out of these relationships that opportunities will emerge to “walk on stepping stones of understanding” toward the truth of Jesus Christ.
